MPLX Stock Analysis
The Best Oil & Gas Stock in 2025 - MPLX Stock Analysis
Midstream > Upstream: Fee-based “toll-road” model shields cash flow even if crude keeps sliding.
Juicy & Growing Income: 7.4% yield, fresh 12.5 % raise; 10-yr dividend CAGR ≈ 9%.
Strategic Backbone: 63% owned by Marathon Petroleum — locked-in volumes and long-term contracts.
Natural-Gas Tailwind: Handles 10% of all U.S. gas; new Permian assets & $1.7B growth cap-ex aim to outpace oil.
Rock-Solid Financials: $4.9B FCF, flat net debt, 73% FCF payout + opportunistic unit buybacks.
Still Cheap: ~12× earnings; conservative DDM shows 30%+ upside.
My Move: Initiated a core position (8% yield-on-cost) — targeting double-digit total returns.

UNH Stock Analysis
Down 50% in months: DOJ Medicare-fraud probe, surprise CEO exit & withdrawn guidance spooked Wall St.
Valuation reset: 12.7 × P/E, 13.6 × FCF — lowest multiples in a decade; dividend yield now 2.8% (all-time high).
Still a cash-flow machine: revenue / EPS compounds ≥ 12% over 10 yrs; payout ratio just 36% of FCF.
Dividend pedigree: 18.8% 10-yr CAGR, latest hike 11.7%.
Forward lens: EPS may dip -17% in 2025, but consensus expects double-digit growth by 2027-29 — putting today’s price near 7× future earnings.
Biggest wildcards: investigation fines, care-cost inflation, leadership uncertainty.
Zach’s take: Generational opportunity if legal overhang proves modest; risk-reward finally skews in favor of long-term dividend investors.
AVGO Earnings Update
Post-earnings dip: -5% on the day, yet still +30% past month; $1.2T market cap now ranks #8 globally.
AI networking drives growth: Q2 revenue +20% YoY to $15B; AI-chip sales hit $4.4B and are guided to $5.1 B (+60 % YoY) next quarter.
VMware boost masked fundamentals: 2024 revenue jump largely acquisition-driven; FCF per share barely budged.
Valuation stretch: ~30× FCF and higher P/E than Nvidia despite slower growth; dividend yield ≈ 1.4% with growth cooling to 13% 3-yr CAGR (vs. 31% 10-yr).
Zach’s stance: Locked in a 200% gain in 2024, switched to Visa, and still see better AI semiconductor plays today.
